What’s this then… eh?
Hi, I suppose I am just like you. Someone creative and interested in applied graphic arts. By trade I am a commercial designer, and have been for 17 years. Most of my work is for packaging and advertising, but what I really love is when I get a chance to illustrate. That is when I can let loose and feel truly creative. Since you landed here, we also probably share the habit of continually searching the web for inspiration, ideas, techniques, and, most important, free stuff to use in our art. One of the great things about the web is that there are so many sites by artists willing to share what they have learned or stumbled on. These are sometimes hard to weed out from the sites that are just out to sell you something. This blog is here to share with you the many really great free resources I have discovered. Ones that you may not have come across yet. I hope it is helpful to you. I will continually update my list of links and try to keep my posts interesting. Please visit every now and then.
